Because when you’re not breaking into people’s cars, tagging trash cans, or drinking, you gotta remember the appointment you made with the latest girl-with-an-overpriced-camera. Nothing says gangster like a black and white picture of you on one knee while you rub your chin. Or the picture of you holding the baby you had at 17. OMG SO ARTYSTIK.

I’m gonna go listen to the Patton Oswalt routine about the “Test of the Small Town”. At least I passed.

And that alone was enough to make me a geeky mark for Benedict Cumberbatch.

Considering I need to be up at 9 tomorrow morning to drive down to Paso Robles, I cut my time short(er, I guess <_<) on ME3.

I got my super-badass Salarian engineer to Lv. 20 and promoted him (<Salarian god> bless you, Jaedo). I’ve got a Krogan soldier (Dread) and a Turian sentinel (originally named Tyrion (until pronunciation problems got in the way), now named Stark), both Lv. 15. Given that tomorrow will be spent with my family, I’ll just have to hope I can fit in ten levels’ worth of grinding on Sunday.

So, in anticipation of tomorrow’s kickoff ofOperation SHIELDWALL, I tried a Gold level on ME3’s multiplayer. I played my Salarian Engineer.

We got decimated. We managed to survive five rounds (and lost the sixth for reasons I’ll explain in a sec), but any time we poked our heads out, someone was going to get KO’ed.

What ended up happening by the end was that all four of us were hiding behind cover, waiting for the enemies to come to us so we could Grab them for the OHKOs. That worked against us when it came time for the special op - assassinating key targets - during Wave 6.

It was fun, and I made a decent amount of credits doing it, but I think I’ll stick to Bronze and Silver for the time being.
